Things are looking up. I just had a practice session on the rooftop. It's the first since the transplant but instead of actually practicing, I just performed for the birds and construction workers who are on the adjacent building.
Playing beautiful music on a beautiful instrument is the best therapy ever. For those moments, all of my aches and misery were diminished. It's seems like the ugliness of my disease can't compete with the beauty of music.
I'm thankful you are able to see and feel small improvements!! Cheering you on!
ReplyDeleteThe ugliness of this disease cannot compare to the beauty of you my friend!!
ReplyDeleteI am not seeing the hair that you mentioned, sure you aren't having hallucinations? Still, performing for construction workers is a worthy social experiment, It may:

2. keep them from falling from their perch
3. move them to buy their wive's symphony tickets.
4. help them to understand life in general.
5. help them appreciate the delicate melodious sounds of an expertly played tuba.
6. stop them from whistling to women walking by
Yay if the answer is yes to all 6.
love you, and glad you are feeling better and playing.
